Baskets for Bama is an annual fundraiser created by Brad Levin and his brothers, David and Gregory in honor of their grandmother Iris “Bama” Levine. The 3 on 3 event raises money towards finding a cure for Brain Cancer.

All donations raised go to Duke University’s Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center. Baskets for Bama is a team within Angels Among Us, the fundraising arm for the research foundation.

On this website, you can learn more about Duke’s initiative, and how they are coming closer to finding a cure for brain cancer. You will be able to join the quest for finding a cure for brain cancer by donating and/or participating in Baskets for Bama which just completed its 5th year. Collectively over the past 5 years, we have raised $198,497.00. Youth grades 3-8 participate in their appropriate age bracket 3 on 3. Adults play in evenly matched pickup games and shooting contests. Each participant receives a t-shirt and trophies are awarded to the winners.
